Hybrid Air Vehicles (HAV) has announced the reservation of three Airlander 10 aircraft from an unnamed defence contractor looking to deliver the capabilities of the platform to its customers.

Airlander 10 is a versatile aircraft with a modular payload design that can remain airborne for five days. It is capable of transporting over 100 passengers, a ten-ton payload of freight, or alternatively provide a highly instrumented cabin for persistent surveillance, reconnaissance and communications for national security, commercial, or disaster response.

Today’s announcement (October 23, 2025) builds on the $2bn of reservations in place for Airlander 10 in the civil market.
