The “new proposals” for Liverpool St are nowhere nearly as bad as the original scheme, which was roundly condemned underneath an avalanche of objections.
The new proposal, at first glance is nowhere nearly as bad .. but … there will still be no natural daylight in the station, with a concrete roof “platform” over all.
I expect, if not the 2000+ objections lodged the first time around, that there will, nevertheless, be a large number of people lodging complaints.
As someone who has certainly been using the place since when N-7’s, Quint-Arts & “Britannias” were operating the services, I will be writing to the planning authorities, again.
