But, as we now know, travel is now back up to (approx) 90% of pre-covid, but Central Guvmint/Treasury funding is still pressing down on actually restarting stuff, with lots of (irrelevant) soundings off.
Just when, with Climate Change & other energy issues, we should be planning for & actually starting to switch to more & more universal & more energy-efficient public transport – oh dear.
Should this be the subject of a more considered article, regarding the gap between public aspirations & government (ANY government’s) actual performance?
