  2. I’ve never understood Didcot station having “Parkway” added. A possible negative effect is that it makes it sound like it’s miles from the town itself when it’s no less central than say Oxford or Derby. Car drivers may equally be disappointed to find that access isn’t straight off a fast dual carriageway, and is the car park really that much bigger than other stations without the Parkway designation?
