Re. simple fixes. Stopping parking near junctions – obviously good, as parked vehicles make it hard for emerging traffic to do so safely. Replacing the displaced vehicles with bike stands – not good, as emerging traffic is still unsighted, albeit less so, and it’s hardly sensible to enable/encourage/force cyclists to start off from the location of greatest danger.
