There were also a lot fewer cars and vans in London on Christmas day, which made cycling much more pleasant than usual.
I saw a large number of the new Lime e-Bikes circulating, too, which won’t be captured in the official statistics. They look rather more fun to ride than the heavy, slow, Boris bikes!
