I would love to see an update of that 1968 journey time map!
I wonder if those UPS elctric-assited trailers are a pointer to the future? I saw something else about them ( Evening Standard? ) – certainly an idea that needs testing.

I’m not sure where else to post this, but was the commitment to producing 6 LR magazines a year overambitious? The £40 subscription was meant to secure 6 magazines for the price of 5 but the gaps between issues get ever longer, the last issue I received being the January 2017 issue. I do appreciate the subscription helps to support this excellent site, but I’m not sure that we’re quite getting what is promised in the subscription section. Apologies if this has been addressed elsewhere, I have been much less active of late.
