The “Source” of the river Thames is problematical
t1: The official source is a Winterbourne & in summer, especially after a dry spring, waher only appears a km or two further downstream approx 16 km to where it meets ….
2: There is in fact, a longer supposedly subsidiary stream with a very spectacular origin at Seven Springs, origin o theRiver Churn, which merges with the Thames at Cricklade (!) approx 28 km away
