It remains to be seen whether Mr Harper revives from his apparent stupor ( Reliable reports suggest that most of the actual work is being done by the surprisingly competent Merriman ) to do something about this & not only provide the new trains, which will be needed, anyway & also keep Derby going.
It would, indeed be a horrible irony if the new “Not-BR” headquarters moves to Derby, when there are no railway works any more (!)
