“Should Train Guards wear body-cameras”?
YES: – it also should help protect them in other circumstances, too – where drunk/drugged passengers (etc ) are involved.
The “Barnes Dance” article highlights something that seems insane to us in the UK: The “Jaywalking” rules …….
America hates walking (?)
They certainly make it difficult – I understand from elsewhere & other US correspondents, that in many areas, in the US suburbs, there are no pavements/sidewalks … which tends to make walking very awkward.
Re train guards wearing bodycams because they have a problem?? I wear bodycams because I know its the other way round. Both tube and rail staff abuse me because of my disability. I’ve caught them calling me names gesturing at me rudely, and even as happened on the Battersea Power Station tube opening day, TfL staff pushing me violently.
