  1. Even with 100% electric vehicles, we would still have brake dust, wouldn’t we?
    I wonder if Mr Khan knows about this?

    EVs and hybrids make great use of regenerative breaking to recharge the electric motors. So brake use is much reduced, much less brake dust is produced, and they last much longer.

  3. But there is still some brake dust so even 100% EVs would not solve the local (let alone national) air quality problems – though they would help.

  4. It seems EV drivers hardly ever need to us their brakes, with their usual one-pedal driving. One of the many many many advantages EVs have over old-tyme gas cars. The sooner these guzzlers are all scrapped, the better.
