With the 378s now a firm fixture on the North London Line, it is now close to the time when the last of the old British Rail Class 313s will be cascaded off elsewhere.
Indeed, it appears that Friday the 17th of September is currently slated to be the last time the 313s runs in service on the line, and sources indicate that the last of these will be a special service for staff, regular passengers and enthusiasts to mark this final day of service.
For those interested in this little bit of North London Rail history passing, sources indicate that the special service will be the 23:42 from Stratford to Willesden Junction, with the following timings:
Depart Stratford 23:42
Depart Hackney Wick 23:45
Depart Homerton 23:48
Depart Hackney Central 23:50
Depart Dalston Kingsland 23:52
Depart Canonbury 23:55
Depart Highbury & Islington 23:57
Depart Caledonian Road & Barnsbury 23:59
Depart Camden Road 00:03
Depart South Hampstead 00:16
Depart Kilburn High Road 00:20
Depart Queens Park 00:25
Depart Kensal Green 00:229
Arrive Willesden Junction 00:36
More information, obviously, as we get it.
Thanks to Dazz for the spot.
