In other GOBLIN news, the Barking-Gospel Oak Line User Group were present at the LOROL passenger board meeting this week, and got some interesting information about the line. They report that from 1st June 15-minute peak frequency will happen in the peak, but off-peak will remain every 30 minutes as freight from the NLL will continue to be diverted down the line.
They also asked a number of questions with regards to Rolling Stock. Four of the Sprinters on the line have had their full seating layouts restored ahead of transfer to FGW, and although they were unable to get LOROL to confirm that no Sprinters would be released until at least two 172s were in service, they did confirm that in the longer term, lease releases would be on a “one in, one out” basis.
